Chair: Professor Dr Kiew Lik Voon
Prof. Dr. Kiew Lik Voon obtained his Ph.D. degree in Biopolymer Technology and Therapeutics from the Universiti Malaya, Malaysia.
His research interests and expertise are in the development of nano-sized complexes and particles for anticancer and organ-selective drug delivery and therapy. He also evaluates synthetic and bioactive compounds/materials for toxicity, physiology impact and disease treatment efficacy. He also assesses the acute and chronic impacts of intravenous administration of nano-drug-carriers and nanotherapeutics
to the cardiovascular physiology of rats using radio-telemetry techniques.
Prof. Dr. Kiew is currently a Professor and the Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia. He has 15 years of experience as a pharmacologist and pharmacology educator.

Subcommittee of Serious Adverse Event
Chair: Ms Wong Yin Yen
Ms Wong Yin Yen is a drug information pharmacist in the University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). She received her Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Science Malaysia (USM) in 2005.
She is currently the assistant secretary of the Drug and Therapeutics (D&T) Subcommittee and is involved in the process of new drug listing, removal and prescribing guidelines in the UMMC formulary. She is a member of the Medical Research and Ethics Committee (MREC) and the chairperson for the Severe Adverse Reaction (SAE) Subcommittee in the UMMC. She is also a clinical trial coordinator in the Pharmacy Department.
Her special interests include health economics, hospital pharmacy management, formulary management and health research ethics. She has published articles in international peer reviews journals and poster presentations in international conferences.
